Is espada trying to force brown to trade paredes?

I obviously want us to make the playoffs one more time with Altuve (he need to break that HR record), Correa and Yordan.

But yeah part of me is wondering if we will look back at this two year stretch of 2025-2026 as the "dang we should have traded these guys when they had value" era.

Diaz last offseason and Framber at the 2025 deadline comes to mind. We will see how it shakes out with Pena, Hunter and Paredes

If we are middling in THIS division at the break, we need to fire sale everybody and everything not nailed down. Everybody. Hunter will likely not be around when we are even decent enough to compete even if we start halfway rebuilding. Like it or not, we are more than likely looking at a return to the dark days of the late aughts and early teens due in part to those draft picks we were forced to give up, despite any claims from ownership of the window "never being closed" (he sure doesn't seem willing to spend like you have to with an aging core to keep it open).
