3 Positive Predictions
- Walker hits better with RISP and hits 30 HRs
- Yordan hits 40+ HR
- Brice Matthews and Cam Smith develop into outfield cornerstones
3 Negative Predictions
- Paredes reinjures his hammy, misses 40+ games, proving we should have traded him in the offseason
- LMJ gets hurt again, misses several games and is eventually released.
- Bullpen is mediocre to bad -- blowing at more than 20 saves
I'm a lot more optimistic than many here -- choosing to believe 2025 was an anomaly. The team pitching is about the same. Losing Framber hurts, but getting him out of the organization may be a net positive. We had a team with historic injuries last year, played a ton of AAA guys, and just missed playoffs by 1/2 game.
Look at the lineup we trotted out last August against the Orioles. As the team is constructed -- even with the OF weaknesses, I'd say we are better.

Plus, I don't buy what the Mariners are selling. Their 2025 year reeks of Rangers 2023. I don't think Cal repeats his 60 HR performance.
