This isn't really "travel" related, but I thought this was the best board.

I'm trying to find a venue to host a family reunion next summer. There will be about 22 adults and 7-10 kids, ages 1-15.

We would like a lake house (or multiple houses next to each other) with a pool and lots of outdoor living space, grills, basketball, etc. Primarily, it would just be hanging out, swimming, fishing, skiing/tubing, bbq'ing, drinking, etc.

I'm just not finding anything big enough. Any suggestions? Probably need 13 or so bedrooms total, kids can bunk up or sleep on the floor. Thanks in advance!

Check out ridingriverranch.com. It is west of Leakey,Tx about 10 miles. The ranch is about 3500 acres and has a large spring that runs through it with 2 large swiming holes. It is where they made the Pearl beer commercial "The Country of the 1100 Springs". I think it has 5 houses you can rent. When I went there I thought it would be a great place for a family reunion. Thanks for the input. Yes, we have looked at VRBO, but I just couldn't find anything big enough. We'll probably end up renting 2 places close to each other and then all "hang out" at the best place.

I've not been there, but friends have stayed there and really like it.

Went to a wedding at Moon River Ranch. Its a nice place.

Have friends and family and we try to get together every summer and we usually have 22-25 adults/kids.
We are staying at the Chimney Valley Lodge in Blanco this year on Labor Day weekend. It's looks really nice and pretty new, has pool, spa/hot tub and Blanco river frontage.
