I hate SFO. I get it if you're dead set on your giants game. Sacramento is my choice these days after trying San Fran, Oakland, and Sacramento.
I like staying up the valley in Napa. We frequent the harvest inn. A car is good if you drink a lot but 2 wineries … that's me driving myself. We avoid alcohol except the tastings though.
Venge. Amizetta. Pride mountain. Those three are fun. The second two have amazing views as well. We hit them each trip now. Sonoma is more spread out and I'm not an expert. We do dry creek vineyard when over there though. A solid pick. Tons of food in healdsberg and Santa Rosa.
Hit up brasswood in Napa valley. Ask for the stretched
mozzarella cheese on toasted bread with heirloom tomatoes. It's their thing and amazingly good.
