Regarding Grand Targhee: It had some fun greens. Even the park was beginner friendly so we were trying out some ramps and shoots. The greens were all bunched up together so you won't accidentally end up on a steep mogle slope. They didn't have eny recent snow but the trails were still in pretty good shape. We only skied one day - I imagine it would get boring on the second day. It's one of the smaller mountains I've skied.



We drove in from Jackson with blue skys and didn't have a problem, BUT we did have to go through the Teton pass so some snow/ice would really foul up that transit.

Over all it worked well for us, but we'll try other places before coming back.
