Sounds exactly like me and my wife. She loves the beach, I prefer to explore.

We have loved Hawaii... alternate beach days with adventure days, we both love it.

Rome would get you your "meseums and old stuff" and you could day trip to Amalfi for your beach days.

Alaska Cruise... doesn't get your wife the beaches but it's certainly ocean related, relaxing...

I can endorse those from experience, and the other that comes to mind is Mackinac Island. It's high on our list, we've had lots of relatives go and they love it.

I've recommended it several times, but nayara springs in Costa Rica is amazing. It will stretch your budget a little bit, but you mentioned June and that is their cheapest rates. It is impossible to describe what an amazing experience it is…maybe not a beach on an ocean, but a beach in the jungle.

What does this mean? Is there good eye candy or am I missing something?
