That number is the mid mountain reading which includes the wind blow off. That's one problem with Breck, it gets dumps but a lot blows off. Not surprised given the winds yesterday.
We got about 14-18 in Glenwood. Hopefully the wind stays in check today. Should be a nice day and should be empty w the front range limited up 70.
Headed to Snowmass since getting to Vail and back looks to be a miracle today. Tomorrow and Tuesday mornings are supposed to be brutal cold. 0 degrees and 15-25mph winds.
I don't if ALOT more is on the way. Maybe like a 8-12 through tomorrow. Still solid numbers for the storm total. Vails at 24 through 5 and 30 through 6. Breaks at like 15 through 5 and 19 through 6/7. Vail's supposed to catch another 18-20 through Monday. So like 24-30 inches for Sumco and 45-50 inches for Eagle.
Wife just left Ridgway. She said the suns out over the San Juan's. Looks like most of this storm has blown through for today for SE Cooorado but when it cools down tonight we should get some decent bursts followed by some low and light but it'll take it. Looks like snow should stay through 1-2pm for central Colorado and then pick back up around 10/11pm. First time it's felt like winter all season. Roads are total *****
Rabbit ears is supposed to bath so thing like 40 inches between yesterday and Monday so yeah be careful out there if you're driving.
