My son and I did Havasu Falls just before Thanksgiving 2018. I DO NOT enjoy camping, but sucked it up for this trip. It was amazing. Part of me wants to do it again. The hikes are no joke (both distance, and some are down right scary), but it's so worth it.

We went with Wildland Trekking. At the time, they were still using the donkey carriers, so we only had to carry our own small personal bags. It would have been much more difficult if our group had to split up carrying all of the gear.

No showers, but the toilets are the best outdoor set ups I've ever seen. They are built up on a two story platform, so you are way above the waste. There was little to no odor and they were very clean. Just a bit cold and dark, when you're doing those last before bed and first when you get up trips to the potty.

Heading to Las Vegas the weekend after the Super Bowl. Four nights at the Wynn comped. Have tickets to see U2 at the Sphere and tickets to see David Blain's show.

Saw U2 at the sphere in November and it was amazing! Have fun!

Hey Jmac- what are your thoughts on best all-inclusive around Cancun for family? My wife and I did Secrets Maroma Beach last summer and it was fantastic, but looking at taking my two teenage boys this time. Dreams or something else under a different umbrella?

Hyatt Ziva Cancun (NOT Riviera Cancun), Dreams Playa Mujeres, Hotel Xcaret, Hard Rock Riviera Maya (IMO a step down from Secrets Maroma - but has bigger water slides for kids), if beach isn't important, Moon Palace Grand (LOVE this resort).

I booked Montreal in April. Looking at going to spring training in Surprise in March but may reconsider after looking at hotel prices.

Headed to Maui Feb 15-22 and just put down a deposit on a Galapagos trip next Jan.

I didn't get the chance, but get tickets for the movie at the Sphere. After seeing U2 there, I'd gladly pay the $50 or $60 for the movie ticket. The movie is not shown on the day of concerts.

Just booked Marco Island, FL JW Marriot for Spring Break with family.

Just bought tickets to Denver for Wednesday through Sunday the week after next. Just trying to squeeze a ski trip in this year. Now I'm trying to decide where to stay and what mountain to skiing. Debating between copper, Keystone, and a basin. We've never skied these and we want to try something new. Also debating on trying to stay at the resort or maybe Frisco area. Obviously not a whole lot of lodging options this late in the game.

Circleville Store and having a cold beer with Joe. Might even have one with James.

Copper or A Basin. A Basin is way smaller than Keystone. Dillon or Frisco or Silverthorne are all super close. You can also stay at base of Copper. If you go lmk and I can help w rentals.

The Ritz-Carlton Naples, FL. Kids love the new water slides.

Thanks I am definitely leaning towards copper And we will probably wind up staying in Frisco at this point. There's a couple of places at the base of Copper that are within our budget but they are pretty tiny and my wife isn't too thrilled about that.

How would the rentals work? We're landing in Denver at 6 PM and then heading straight to wherever. Would love to knock out picking up rentals that night, but don't know if that's possible. Last year in Breckenridge are friends had rentals delivered the morning after we got there and that seemed like the way to go but I don't know if that's an option outside of the bigger resort towns. That would be nice since we will be on a time crunch and trying to maximize time on the mountain.

We close at 7pm and open at 8:00am. If you have a reservation, the gear will be done and ready for sizing/pick up anytime after 1pm the day before you arrive (some people get in early). I just need the reservation #.

On Sunday we booked Tokyo for two weeks in April. If anyone has insight/recommendations, we greatly appreciate it!

Booked an AirBnB in Flagstaff for Spring Break. Going to try out the Arizona Snow Bowl for family skiing... and they just got THREE FEET of snow in the last three days, so ought to at least have a base for us. Then headed to relatives in Phoenix area.

Probably going to book my family of 5's trip to India from IAH that we plan on taking in December. Won't be a cheap flight - looking at around 4200 - 5000 per person and that's with travel on Christmas Day to come back.

Leaving Tues for a week in La Paz & San Jose. June will be Cabo for 10 days. Dec will be Prague, Vienna & Budapest.

Fortunately, the kids are game fully employed adults so they're paying for their own tickets. Still not cheap, though.
