What did you book for future?

Travel agents - what did you book for your clients? (I'll post last months in the next day or so since we didn't have a June thread).

Headed to Maine at the end of the month. It's hard this week seeing most of my colleagues out on vacation, but it will be worth it when we are gone.

Also spending two nights at Fernweh in New Braunfels the first weekend of Aug. to float the river. These are relatively new cabins (much nicer looking than the ones our friends suggested), and I'm curious to see how they are. Price was a little higher, but not much.

Had already booked condos in Banff for the week of Christmas and finally pulled the trigger on plane tickets a couple of weeks ago. It's crazy how much more expensive plane tickets to YYC are now than a couple of years ago. This is a favorite trip of mine and my son's and we are excited to share it with my BF and his boys.

Short trip to Milwaukee for us this month I've never been, and recommendations for things to do/see in Milwaukee? Won't have a vehicle and only there for 3 nights.

Sidenote - I have a 30 room wedding in Cancun on Saturday (7/6). Hoping this weather doesn't impact them! As well as a client who goes to Dominican Republic tomorrow.

Might want to ask them how they fared w the storm. Grenada took a direct hit and it sounds like it was a very very very bad landfall.

When did TSA start doing facial recognition? Saw the sign that it's optional but most I saw were doing it.

Touched base with our travel agent & she has other clients there currently & said things are supposed to be back to normal as soon as tomorrow. Only concern was that they were on their own to try to leave if they so wanted, that the resort was only helping them to hunker down on property & for their safety. We have purchased travel insurance in case another storm develops closer to our dates on the last weekend of the month.

When I went to Samui in May they had it in SFO. In March they had it in LAX.

Baring an AA flight attendants strike I'm booked for:
Next week Detroit via BNA-CTL-DTW then OKC via DTW-DFW-OKC
Following week Wichita via OKC-DFW-ICT then Burlington NJ via ICT-DFW-PHL and home PHL-BNA
Third week is Kansass City via BNA-ORD-MCI then Albany via MCI-ORD-ALB and finally home ALB-ORD-BNA.
Last week of July is Salem OR via BNA-ORD-PDX and Memphis via PDX-DFW-MEM and home MEM-DFW-BNA

When is the potential strike supposed to happen? Odds you think it will happen as we are flying AA to Grenada at the end of the month? Thanks.

Looks like the union wants to strike and the government isn't letting them yet.
There are still negotiations continuing this week.

Might start seeing more "random" sick call outs.

Lot of driving day trips from my home base in College Station to Houston and DFW for work. Flying down to McAllen for work next week. That has the potential to be rocky given the weather predictions.

So, no fun trips. I look forward to posting in August, though.

Headed to London this evening. My wife spends the summers in Australia with family. I go every other year. On the off years I run over to Europe to get out of town. Weather in London this weekend is highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s. Looking forward to that for a few days.

I was there a year ago at this time. I'm jealous of you.
