Living that van life.

So far in July:
  • Cannon Beach / Manzanita / Oswald State / Dundee / McMinnville loop
  • Lower Lewis Falls (Gifford Pinchot) / Hood River / Mt. Hood Meadows (camp) / Timberline (ski!)

This weekend (mom in town from CS!)
  • Day trip to Rainier
  • Camp at Lost Lake on Hood

Last week in July (BIL/SIL in town from DFW)
  • Bend / Sisters for 4 days

August we start our big road trip.

Currently at North Texas Jellystone. Was supposed to be Galveston but I moved it due to the hurricane. Our week in Panama City Beach was fantastic.

Little bit of a slower month for booking (normal for summer):
Barcelo Maya Palace - 4 rooms
Holland America 12 day Panama Canal cruise
Alaska Railroad trip
NCL cruise Spring break - 4 cabins
Sandals Royal Barbados honeymoon
Secrets Akumal (Texager)
Dreams Las Mareas (Texager) (Costa Rica)
Quick Miami trip.

Our little wagon at Jellystone is cute!

Technically we leave in July. We leave Monday for
Anchorage.

Seward and hiking in Kenai NP, drive to Wrangell St Elias NP for a couple of days hiking the glacier, finish the road down to Valdez for 2 nights, back to Anchorage and then Brooks Lodge in Katmai NP for 3 nights.

Walking in open and crowded grizzly bear country where bears just ignore you is very strange. But very cool.

I know you'll miss me at Katmai this time, but try to have fun anyways. BTW, i bought the Swaro NL Pure 10x42 based on your suggestion.

Oh yeah, check out "Soup, There It Is" food truck in Seward. We were there a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. It was cold and raining so the soup was perfect. And if you can, do the octopus experience at the aquarium. We signed up months ago so not sure if they'll have availability. It was really cool. The hike to Harding Ice field was pretty snowed in so I didn't make it to the top. I was pretty winded by Marmot Meadows so I'm kind of glad I didn't have to go further. Haha.

Lastly, see if you can do an ice cave tour under the glacier at Wrangell. It's pretty spectacular.
