Last month was a pretty slow month booking wise for me, but I will take it as it has been a nice break.

NCL Alaskan Cruise
Breathless Los Cabos
Branson trip
Valentin
Wyndham Alltra Cancun
Holland America Alaskan Cruise Tour (for a Texager)

Sandals Barbados
Milwaukees Best Light

Went to San Antonio for a dove hunt last weekend. Stayed at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch. Had a wonderful weekend. The 2 bedroom at the hyatt was really nice and not terribly expensive. Huge room and a good layout. The pool and lazy river kept my kids happy. Lots of old fat white people, also some younger married couples getting drunkkk on the lazy river. Food was typical resort fare, expensive and mediocre.

Gainesville Florida in a couple of weeks for Parents Weekend (which happens to coincide with Aggie football game there - yay!). Gonna be hot as hell I'm sure.
Miami Beach at the end of the month for a birthday party.
Hiking in Utah/AZ just after that.
Want to start working on Wimbledon '25. Any recs? I have one name of a company that specializes in this sort of travel.
Avoid the rush. Start hating Socialism now.

I never contribute to these threads, but I've got a lot of balls in the air for this month.

Headed to Glacier NP next week. Will pull out the winter clothes this weekend.
Just booked accommodations for next summer in the Canadian Rockies (including Jasper). Working through that itinerary now.
Finalizing some stuff for NE Arizona for November.
Waiting for some hotel points to land to book a weekend in KC for October.

And conferences in Boise and Green Bay later this month.

I keep a doc of my itineraries called "Upcoming" that I continue to tweak and boy is it loooong right now.

I wish I could back a month and talk about my upcoming Alaskan cruise but, alas, that time has passed. Now I have a day trip to Amarillo (Pampa, specifically) on the docket for tomorrow.

Stupid work.

Quick Disneyworld Trip - Halloween Party and then 4 parks in 1 day challenge (yes that's crazy, but I've been to Disney a couple times in the last few years so I don't need to do everything)

Honestly you just don't know. The only reason prices usually drop are if the flights aren't filling up or a competitor has lower rates. I tend to buy early. It's rare I actually see them drop.

I typically don't book airfare to Europe until Jan or Feb for a May-June trip. I wouldn't say I've saved a whole lot doing that, but I have caught a dip.

With that said, my last trip to Europe was 2023, and airfare prices have been all over the place this last year. So I'm not sure previous experience holds.

I would set up a Google flights alert now and start watching fares. If there is a dip, you should be able to catch it.

I tend to buy early too, but the 6 month mark has been my sweet spot recently. Doesn't mean it will be that way when the time comes around next year, though.

American Airlines just came out with some really low fares for Europe but I think it mainly for travel this fall.

My clients have booked some amazing vacations lately!

Grand Isle Resort in Exuma
El Dorado Maroma for an Overwater Bungalow
Windjammer Landing in St. Lucia
Secrets Playa Blanca for 50th Birthday Celebration
Sandals Grande Antigua
Secrets Royal Beach in Dominican Republic
Cocobay Antigua Honeymoon
Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica - this is such a hidden gem!
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya
Sandals St. Vincent - cannot wait to hear about this trip!

Not much travel for me this fall -- hoping to get up to Jackson Hole, WY possibly.

I was invited on a trip to Belize -- should I go? It's not a beachy trip, it will be inland at a wilderness resort...what say ye Texags?!

I just got home from a week in Croatia. We flew into Split, then took ferries to Hvar and Dubrovnik. I have decided that we're going back to Hvar to spend a week. We spent most of our time there at the beach, but I really want to hike and visit some of the wineries there.

I booked plane tickets to Manhattan in December.

Love this! The Halloween Party is one of my favs. Make sure to trick or treat at the end of the night as the amount of candy they give is insane. One of the best events and the later parade is far less crowded. Coming from someone that sees how many Lightening Lanes I can score in a day! The 4 park challenge sounds fun

Headed to Glacier NP next week. Will pull out the winter clothes this weekend.

We are in GNP. now. It's been clear and warm (80's at lower elevations, 70 or so up top). Haven't looked at the forecast, but this week at least it's been closer to "shorts and t-shirt" weather.

That's what I've been hoping for. 've been watching the forecasts and the projected temps have been all over the place. We're looking at upper 40s - 50s now and some rain.

We left this morning, and it was very smoky. Visibility was significantly reduced from prior days.

Sept has been a busy month for me as a travel advisor

Things I've booked so far for clients
Multi Generational Alaska Cruise Sept 2025
Last Min Adults only France Vacation (Paris, Nice, Bordeaux, Monaco)

If I would have known you were going to SG for the F1, I might have joined.

Through a lucky coincidence, I happened to have work trips to Singapore that coincided with the F1 races in 2018 and again in 2019.

I'm still on the mailing list so I'm always getting prompts to attend.

Hopefully you got either the Zone 4 with the main stage, or the all Zone walkabout pass. Bring your walking shoes.

Just wrapped up a 10 day road trip from Montana to Texas via Nashville.
And I'm headed to Vegas this weekend for actual fun.

Flew into Bozeman to pickup my daughters car and then drive it back to Virginia with the intention to pick up my car and drive it back to Texas.

Things didn't go to plan and we had a catastrophic tire failure "On a long and lonesome highway East of Omaha". Drove about 30 miles on the donut tire back to Council Bluffs, Iowa where it took 4 days to get the car fixed.

After getting the car fixed, stopped in Davenport, Iowa, Peoria, Illinois, Terre Haute, Indiana and finally to Nashville. Never made it to Virginia but swapped cars in Nashville with my daughter who drove my Jeep in from Virginia.

Had to make the Nashville to Galveston drive in one day - about 830 miles. Took the Bolivar Ferry at about 2:30am on Sunday night/Monday morning.

One thing Aggie related that was funny was - when I drove past the baseball stadium in Omaha, they still have a Texas A&M flag up so that was cool.
