It's about freaking time. The current situation of paying for slow WiFi and then it doesn't work or you fly over an ocean, etc so you have to request a refund totally bites. I can't believe it has taken them this long to make this happen. Many other long haul carriers have free WiFi that works all the time anywhere on the route including over oceans, North Pole, etc. Now if United's fares were not twice the competition that would also get me to fly them more in spite of their very sub par service just so I can get the miles. Again, it's about time.

Not sure where you fly but United is usually the cheapest for us between UAL, AAL, Delta, & SWA.
