Trying to find.somewhere for our family, ages 8 to 75. Timeframe would be next June, and looking at a Celebrity Alaska cruise, but not everyone is on board with that idea. 7-10 days max.

Budget is about $3000/person, we can't do too much walking and have done Mexico, Hawaii. Norway. Disney/universal, London, and Spain.

Any recs to make kids, adults, and grandparents happy?

Thanks!

Have you thought about Yellowstone and Grand Tetons? Jackson Hole?

It's probably too late to get reservations for 2025 in the park. But you could stay in Jackson Hole.

That's an impressive set of previous vacations!
An Alaskan cruise would be great or any other cruises (med, Greece, Caribbean)
Other possible ideas: Banff or Acadia National Park in Maine (could pair with Boston)

Another idea: Italy! Splurge for private tours in Rome then rent a house/villa in Tuscany and do day trips from there.

River cruise somewhere in Europe? Maybe one that includes a stop in Normandy would be a good choice for the demographic.

There are family cruises, so that will take care of the kids (usually lots of kids activities). Typically there are choices for daily excursions, ranging from less active to more active. You get to visit multiple different destinations but have the convenience of going back to the boat every night, so no driving or logistics to worry about. And people could add on pre or post days to the trip, if they want to do more.

As a travel advisor that specializes in multi generational travel my first question is the budget with or without airfare?

I have some destinations in mind if you are not working with an advisor I would love to help. My contact info is in my bio.

I find Alaska cruises are great with just about any age, however, Celebrity would not be my first pick for Alaska.

The crown jewel of Alaska is Glacier Bay. Only Holland America, Princess and Norwegian visit there, and not every one of their ships do. Most of my clients do HA or Princess, with some of the younger ones doing Norwegian. With kids I would probably skip HA, but even Princess does good with kids on their Alaska ships, but they do not have all the fun stuff Norwegian does.

You could do a Caribbean cruise out of Florida that would hit better port stops than what you get out of Galveston.

All-inclusive resorts are most of what I sell - so you could look at Jamaica or Dominican Republic as well.

My email is in my signature if you need any assistance.

Oregon is the most underrated area in the country. In the summer time their weather is amazing. Their coastline is gorgeous. There's so much to do there

Thanks for all of the replies, would Rome and Athens be doable in a 8-10 day trip? I would think so since it's only a couple hour flight. That may be the best option for us.

We are doing a Caribbean cruise over Christmas 2025, or that may be an option.

Thanks again!

Absolutely, those are great trips and can be done in 4/5 days, plus travel.

I will say Italy in 2025 is the year of the Jubilee, so things will be much busier and more expensive. Certain schedules or attractions may be altered.

Generally, for 8 to 10 days, my clients will hit 2 to 3 different major cities in Italy. I would think for that long you for sure should hit at least two.
