It's a certificate you have to buy if offered at check out to return to a palace resort. The certificate is $299. You are given a code with that certificate to use which gives you a significant discounted rate to a palace family resort. Most use them at LeBlancs (adults only premier resort). It's not purchasable on the internet, only offered as you are checking out or purchasing from someone who has bought one. Open to offers if someone doesn't want to pay full price.

Hate to say this but as dead as it's been all tourist season here, you can probs call the hotels and get a SWEET deal over the phone. I know all of the hoteles here are desperate for tourists.

I wonder if Cabo is having the same issues, looking at the prices online I would say not.

Cancun is just so humid and and was really dirty the last time we went. Between that and the awdul sargassum I don't have any desire to go back.

Yes they are having issues too. Tourism across Mexico is down dramatically. Cartel violence, strong peso, and COVID hangover are what they're blaming. The rates for Tulum online are still crazy but if you call they are more likely to make a deal. We did a staycation last weekend and the room was listed for $450 a night and we paid $85 for the weekend including breakfast after calling.

I've been to mexico 4 times in ~3 years, and it's been the same every time (about $1=19 pesos).. what do you mean?

It was 16.25/1 until July then shot up after the election to 19/20. Alot of the summer travel was already booked by end of July.

What rate does this allow you to get at Leblanc in Cabo? Is it a specific rate or a % off?
