I'm celebrating my 70th B-day with a family roadtrip for the upcoming South Carolina football game.

We have our flight tickets, hotel reservation and tickets to the game. Was wondering where i can find out about restaurants, bars, Aggie tailgates & midnight yell that we can go to to be with fellow Ags. Any suggestions on where to look or who I can reach out to.

Travel party of 5, all adults!

Thanks for any help. This will be my first road trip game since the 68' Cotton Bowl when i was 13 years of age!

Thanks and Gig'em!!

i head there for work occasionally….

the original Lizards Thicket on Elmwood for breakfast…cheap dive that's a must for the morning after….

Bernie's Chicken for lunch….great fried chicken…

Blue Marlin for dinner…iconic downtown seafood restaurant with good cocktails….

Kaminsky's for dessert…walking distance from Blue Marlin

Only places I've eaten were little holes in the wall that would probably be overrun in game day, and had limited parking

Devine Cinnamon Roll
Railroad BBQ

Both were very good.

Their Zoo is pretty good, and if you're into Revolutionary War history, drive an hour up the road to Camden, SC. They have developed some pretty good RW sites and museums

The first Battle of Camden was the one shown in the Mel Brooks movie The Patriot, as the one where the militias broke and ran. Depiction in the movie had little to do with reality, of course.
