Cool. Enjoy Italy. We stayed at the Hotel Forum a couple times on trips through Rome.

Walking from there to the Colosseum was easy and enjoyable but when my mom made us walk a mile to the Spanish Steps, I just remember wanting to get pizza and ice cream.

I'd definitely like to explore more of the country.

Your first time in Europe will be great. Don't worry about the shoes. You won't notice.

This is a great travel resource. Aggies travel and know a lot. This is not a start of a joke, I walked into a shipping container turned into a steak place at a remote drilling site in Sakhalin Island, Russia. Aggie flag on the wall. We are everywhere.

I have been to almost every state, all over Canada, many trips to different parts of Mexico, the Caribbean, etc.

Now that my kids are mostly grown, we plan on making long trips all over the norm.

Invest in good luggage. It makes packing easier, and once you get the hang of it you can do a week or more easily without checking a bag.

I am already am expert. My wife on the other hand........

Good Luck in your adventures. One thing I can say about traveling to all 50 States is that the only way you can do it is on purpose. North Dakota was #50 for me.
