Green chili ultimate taco at Fry Bread House.

Expect a line. Dont wear nice close because this is a helluva messy dish.

Go to the Wright Bar at the Biltmore and drink a tequila sunrise. It was invented at the bar.

Century Grand has 3 crazy cool themed bars. Each requires a separate reservation. Undertow is a tiki bar themed in the hull of a ship. Videos outside the portholes mae it seem you're sailing. Platform 18 looks like a Pullman train car. Videos out the windows make it look like you're on a train ride.

Fire at Will was very good. They had a fried bologna sandwich that was just freaking fantastic.

Second Pizzeria Bianco. It is everything people say.

Good choice.

Orange Sky at the top of Talking Resort Casino. Great sunset views and a solid steak.

Francine in Scottdale is not shabby either.

Two legendary Phoenix restaurants I always take visitors are Lon's Hermosa Inn (especially outside on a nice day/evening) and Durant's. The latter is an old school steak place the kind with waiters that have been there for years and regulars that have been going for decades. They even made a movie (albeit a terrible one) about it.

I was in Phoenix over the weekend and loved Los Cuatros Nietos. Hole in the wall run by a Puerto Rican guy and his Mexican wife. Puerto Rican/Mexican fusion.

If your goal is to spend a bunch of money, sorry, I can't help.

Grab lunch there after you get your rental.
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

Another steakhouse I can fully recommend is the Stockyards. Good meal in a historic restaurant.
