Back from my latest F1 trip (China) now I am ready to plan for the longer trip in the summer. Planning on doing the last 2 European races this year, Dutch and Italian GP.
Plan is to fly out from Austin on Tuesday (sadly no KLM one way that day) to Amsterdam, sightsee Wednesday/Thursday, then race weekend from Friday to Sunday. After that I move on to Milan for the F1 race located in Monza.
What would be the better way to move to Italy? I liked taking a train in China as it was a first time experience but I think it would be a way longer trip in EU so I might consider just taking a flight instead. I was debating a roadtrip as well, is renting a car difficult overseas, any special requirements I may need?
Taking reccs as well. No idea of what to do in Amsterdam, preferably art or history museums. In Italy my plan is to take the day trip to Maranello for the Ferrari Museum but don't know what else I could check out. I will be at the racetrack Friday-Sunday.
