Tinkering with the idea to spend 3-4 nights at an all inclusive with family aeound Xmas time(me, wife, 13 and 16 daughters). Never been to Mexico, let alone all inclusive, open to any recs. Would be flying out of Salt Lake so non stop always preferred as well. TIA

I have several TexAg clients with kids in similar age ranges headed to Mexico over the Christmas holiday and as a mom of two girls (10 and 11) who frequent all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, I can confidently say it's one of the easiest and most fun vacations for families.
One important heads-up: airfare is definitely high right now for holiday travel, so booking sooner rather than later is key. If you're not working with a travel advisor, my contact info is in my bio. On average, I personally tour around 30 resorts every year across Mexico and the Caribbean because not all all-inclusives are created equal, especially when it comes to what a pre-teen or teenager will actually enjoy.

Cancun is going to likely be the cheapest place to fly into (over PV or Cabo). Not sure your price point but the Grand Velas Riviera Maya is one of my faves (and a client fave as well). Dreams Tulum & Dreams Playa Mujeres are also up there.

Are you flexible with dates? Or trying to stay over Christmas itself?

Happy to answer any questions if you've got them!

I'm currently working on an incredible holiday vacation for a family at Hotel Xcaret, and it's reminding me how many fantastic options Mexico has for family all-inclusive getaways!

The best fit really comes down to your budget and what's available at the time of booking.

Just a quick note holiday travel (especially the two weeks around Christmas and New Year's) is one of the most expensive times to fly and vacation anywhere in the world, so pricing will be higher than a typical all-inclusive trip.

That said, a travel advisor can help you navigate the options, compare value, and make sure you get the best experience possible.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, I'd be more than happy to help!
