Flying a customer into Houston IAH for an overnight lay-over with departure to final destination early the next morning. Need a NICE hotel for that night that is very near IAH for easy access to the next morning's flight.

Give me some recs?

he's getting in late so no dinner or anything needed. Just a nice play to rest for a few hours before the next flight.

Honestly, your best bet is just the Marriott at the airport. You'd have to venture to the woodlands or closer to Houston to find a truly nice hotel.

You'll mostly smaller standard offerings (Holiday Inn, Staybridge, etc.) near the airport.

If that doesn't work, I'd arrange a private driver and book something in the Woodlands (Waterway or Market Street).

Westin Woodlands, Hyatt Centric The Woodlands, or the Woodlands Resort are my top recs there.

If Houston is your preference, The Thompson is my suggestion - beautiful hotel.

The airport Marriott is your best option. Anything in the Woodlands is absurdly stupid for the need you've described.

Yea I didn't realize there was a Marriott on site. I think I'll just do that....
Thanks for the help!!!

One more question. I may end up getting myself a room as well because I'm flying with customer the next morning (7AM flight). Can I park in Parking Garage C and walk to the hotel? That way I wouldn't have to move my vehicle when checking out of the hotel that morning for our flight.

I would just make sure to reserve your parking early. I know that those garages connected to the airport can fill up. But I agree the Marriott is the best option.

I don't know about walking with all the construction but pretty sure the underground tram will work for your needs.

Yes, you can park in C and stay at Marriott. I do same for early flights. It's also the only hotel within miles of the airport I'd ever consider staying at. No question.
