Howdy,
Was curious if any of y'all have watched any Aggie games in foreign countries? Im gonna be in Paris on Thanksgiving week and looking for a way to watch the TU game....I went to the alumni site, but the French A&M club doesn't seem to be super active but was wondering if there is a way to find 'watch parties' there.
Appreciate any guidance you all may provide.

Thanks and Gig'em

I used a VPN when I was in France in 2022 to watch Aggie baseball, but I understand that streamers are starting to make that more difficult. For a big football game like that, you can just about count on their being some pirate stream on YouTube if you can't get it any other way.

When I was in Paris in October, I was able to watch the games (Florida, Arkansas) on YoutubeTV without a VPN on my laptop.

The YouTube live streams do not work nearly as well on games carried by ABC. Should work much nicer with a VPN though.

I live in Asia and use ExpressVPN on my Amazon Firestick. It's great because I can just take it with me when I travel and plug it in to the tv at the hotel/Airbnb. I typically use Youtube TV or the ESPN app with a family member's login info from back in Texas. without issue as long as the VPN is set to the states.

Sometimes Youtube TV will give me trouble with the network channels (ABC, CBS, FOX) because it detects the VPN. It's not really an issue though because you can stream the ABC game on the ESPN app or the ABC app without issue.

I just got back from Paris and watched the South Carolina game on YouTube TV. I had to use my VPN and then disable location services delete cookies yada yada yada before YouTube TV would actually work.

Kickoff will be 2 am Paris time. Having watched a number of Aggies games in the middle of the night at airport lounges and hotels in various parts of the world, I suggest you get some sleep so you don't mess up a great vacation day in Paris. Sure it's a big game against t.u, but if we lose then you will be extra pissed that you stayed up all night. And if the Ags win you will be happy so you won't care as you watch the tape delay on YouTube when you wake up.

Post it on the football board. Game watching questions about other locations always goes over with lots and lots of help

Has anyone been to The Moose Bar? Seems to be an American-style sports bar in the 6th Arr.

Yes, the Moose is a great Canadian Bar with solid food and good Canada beer. But they close around 12 or 1 am if I remember correctly, so not possible to watch the Ags play. And they mostly show hockey and CFL games, but they will put on college football if you ask them to.

The game starts at 3 pm CT (10 pm Paris time). Their website says that they are open until 2 am. So we should be good. I didn't consider the hockey competition.

Let me clarify--

A&M vs. tu starts at 1:30 am Western European time on November 28th
The SEC Championship Game starts at 10 pm Western European time on December 5th (I am going to be in Paris the weekend of December 5th). Sorry if I am being presumptuous about the SEC Championship Game).
