My son and I did that same cruise but on the Dream (which is very similar to the Fantasy) over New Years 2018-2019. It was a "double dip", so we spent two days on Castaway Cay.

We had previously done Thanksgiving and Christmas cruises on the Wonder out of Galveston. IIRC, the decorations and holiday programming are very similar, but the Dream/Fantasy are definitely an upgrade over the Wonder.

Leaving on Friday for Christmas Markets in Vienna, Prague, and Dresden!

Probably a little too excited for the hotel in Vienna, Hotel Imperial. Got upgraded to a suite! Plan to come home about 5-7lbs heavier just in time for Christmas haha

Oh man I'm very jealous. Visited Vienna with my wife in 2024 and wandered in to the Imperial for coffee and dessert one evening. Sat on the little patio at Cafe Imperial. I put it on my list to stay there next time - looked incredible! Enjoy and post a few photos here for us to live vicariously!!

• 12/25-28: PDX > DFW > SPS (drive) > DFW > PDX
• 12/30-1/3: PDX > Sunriver (Bachelor) > PDX via RV

Staying put through the end of the year. Headed back to the US in February/March. Planning trips to Paris, Poland, and maybe Normandy before the end of mid-year next year.
