They use an artificial voice to announce group boarding.

It's the same artificial voice that the Texas EBS has used for NWS alerts since the early aughts.

Nope, but it was a layover.

I'm pretty sure SAN already uses it.
…as do many that I go through.

Also, this is my first MAX8. These engines are comically massive. As in, wtf was someone thinking?
