Honestly with that large of a budget and that short of a time, I'd do something I'd never get to do...stay in a nice hotel in some place like NYC or San Francisco and live it up for 3 days. Hit up some nice restaurants, visit a few museums, go to an MLB game, take cabs everywhere. It would be a blast.

Don't know if you're still looking, but I've got a place in Playas del Coco, which is about 30mins away from the Liberia (LIR) airport.

The condo sleeps up to 6 with its 3 beds and a pull-out couch. With 2 bedroom, 2.5 baths, private terrace, and one of the condo's 6 pools located right outside the front door. The area is extremely walkable, with the closest restaurants and convenience store located short 2 minutes away. The beach is only 3-4 minutes away, and the main strip of town is a short 10 minute walk.

I'm not sure of your exact dates, but my place is currently open from 16APR-26APR.
