I've seen this topic about other airports but haven't seen a thread on Austin… We are flying out next week (4/2) with the kids. Any updates on the TSA lines there? I know they'll likely change by next week but we are just trying to plan ahead. Our flight is at 11:25am

Except it has this notice at the top…

"Due to the lapse in federal funding, this website will not be actively managed. Click here for more information."

I looked at a few different airports earlier and they all had the exact same estimated time (15 minutes) and I know that's not correct.

I called them at 512-530-2422 last week and they answered my question about current wait times.

Flew out last Wednesday and made it through security (pre-check) with no issues (under 15 minutes) Also did not need to check luggage. Airport was busier than normal due to spring break and SXSW, but not crazy. Only issue we had was finding a garage parking spot since it was fairly fulll, but empty when we returned on Sunday.

We flew out last Sat 3/15 on a 5:30am flight....no checked bags....we got there at 3am and it took us an hour and forty five min to get through security

It is a bit dated and the departure time is a little unusual so I don't know how helpful that info is for you

Flew out of AUS this morning. Hotel shuttle dropped us off at 5:45…through Touchless ID in about 5 minutes. We heard that airport parking was a mess this morning. We were out of security & in the admirals Club a little after 6. Very smooth & calm. There were no lines outside. Watched the regular TSA line & it was moving. No checked bags.

Any difference in the touchless ID line versus regular pre-check? I just got the touchless ID and I'm looking forward to using it.

I'd just downloaded that app last week to monitor my destinations. And then shortly thereafter, that notice went up and the app became worthless...

Looks like dfw doesn't have a notice at the top

The Pre check had more agents working & not many people in line. Touchless was very quick…there was someone already in line ahead of us that had some issues…seemed to take some time to sort out. All in all. I'd say both lines moved smoothly either way little wait. The regular line moved also…but lots of people. The newer Checkpoint 4 was open when headed to the gate & no lines there at all…very few people.
