Our daughter is going into 7th grade in the fall and her school has signed up with EF tours for a DC trip in June 27. Anyone have experience sending their kids with them? Most of the negative reviews seem to be on families looking for refunds. Also issues with how far the hotels they book are from DC. Probably leaning against it and just doing a family trip there soon.

My wife used to take her 7th grade science classes to Costa Rica at the end of the year with EF and they never had any issues with them. Did it 3-5 times before she left teaching.

I would have no issues with my kids going. They do a lot of foreign trips too I think. It's a common company with schools who take trips.

I did Washington DC in 8th grade and it was so much fun.

My son did an EF tour to Europe last summer for his senior trip. He had a wonderful time and everything was well taken care of. He absolutely loved it and I am sending my other son next year on a trip with them for his graduation. They really do take care of everything.
