My wife and I are planning a getaway in late June to Tahoe.

Suggestions on places to stay and things to day?

TIA!

If budget allows, Edgewood Tahoe Resort, it's right on the water - really popular in the summer. They have a ton of experiences for guests.

The Ritz and Hyatt Regency are also great options and usually more affordable!

We stayed at a Marriott Timeshare/Vacation Club as hotel guests. It was perfectly acceptable and right in the middle of town.

For a "special trip" stay at Edgewood and be prepared to pay accordingly.

I'd avoid the Ritz. Northstar is great in the winter, but it's too far from the lake. You'd be commuting every day (assuming you're there for the lake mainly). All the fun stuff is south or east lake anyways.

We typically camp or AirBnb. But stayed at Edgewood once. Amazing. Book through Amex FHR and you get some resort credit and breakfast every day. Heavenly gondola is right there for beer/wine at Tamarack and a view.

If not Edgewood, I'd just go AirBnb in Incline Village/Stateline. Late June cats will be lining up to park at Sand Harbor/Zephyr by 6AM everyday. Find a place where you can walk to the public shuttle pick-ups. Parking is insane. Chimney Beech is a tiny lot. We got there at 6AM on a Saturday in August for one of the last spots.

Edgewood is a great choice!
I've also had clients at Hyatt Regency, Everline, and The Landing.

So many unique properties there!

Just a heads up, the last weekend in June is the Western States 100. The weekend before that is the Broken Arrow Sky Race. And there is a conference in between the two races. They are all up at Palisades, so may not affect you at all depending on where you are going, but there will be a lot of people in the area and a lot of places will be booked up on that side of the lake.
