I had a similar run in with a Huntsman spider in Australia about 20 years ago when getting ready in the bathroom. The bite and can be extremely painful. Called down to the desk and one of proprietors shows up with Tupperware container, sweeps him in with a broom and says good day mate. Needless to say, my head was on swivel for the rest of the stay in that place.
