To any music lovers in Metro NYC, Aggies or not -
The TAMU Wind Symphony will be performing *tonight* in a shared concert with the Ridgewood Concert Band of Ridgewood, NJ. The Aggies' program includes Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Bernstein's Candide Overture, as well as the contemporary piece Blue Shades and a little J.P. Sousa. The Ridgewood Concert Band is considered by many to be the best adult community band in the New York metropolitan area (of course I'm biased).

Tonight's concert begins at 8:00 with a pre-concert by the RCB Brass Quintet (including me).
On Friday, the TAMU Wind Symphony will perform a longer program at the world-famous Carnegie Hall.

(And if anyone's wondering about my username, yes I was in _that_ MOB. But good music is good music, so if anyone here is in Northern NJ come and say hello tonight - I'm the trumpet player with the glasses.)
