My wife and I are taking our first vacation and going to Boston (grad of '05 so havent had much time to rake in the cash). While we were there, we were hoping to take in a Sox game. Problem is, tickets are pretty expensive. I didn't know if there was a Boston Ag with tix that could give us a deal. The only date we could make it is August 12 . . happens to be against the Rangers which should be fun.

Anyway, if anyone can help us out, I'd appreciate it.

Cheap Red Sox tickets are hard to find. If you buy on eBay, you're going to pay $50 a pop to sit in the last row of the outfield bleachers. If you don't have any luck here, they do release tickets on the day of the game. They're not great seats, but at least you'll pay face value.

There is a no scalp zone right by the Ted Willimas statue. It is monitored by Red Sox staff and you can buy tickets from people at face value.

Bought two field box seats, 10 rows up in the no scalp zone from a season ticket holder for a game last week. Highly recommend it!!

Two years ago when Mrs Insano and I went, three was a long line right outside the primary ticket window. We were pretty far back in the line, and they start selling leftover seats after first pitch. We missed 1/2 of an inning, but ended up about 20 rows behind home plate for Curt Schilling for 40$ a piece.
