OK, going to MB for Thanksgiving. Any good suggestions for eateries, etc?

The ideas for Charleston were great, so I am trusting Ag's across the nation again!

Did that over Memorial Day. Am going back there, but thought I would see what Myrtle was all about....

which part of myrtle are you going to? south or north. there are tons of places on 17 in either. best shopping is in north myrtle at the outlets (forgot their damn name). the strip in south myrtle is a tourist trap. should be pretty quiet around then compared to the summer. tons of golf courses if you play. i got some buddies who play there all the time so i'll ask and see which ones they think are the best and what the fees are

oh, i see you're in tenn, take 40 to wilmington and hit the new 17 bypass to get there faster. takes about 2 1/2 hours out of raleigh to hit n. myrtle

We are staying at 14th and N. Ocean Blvd. I am not a golfer, though. We just wanted to check Myrtle out and use up some time share points. The place we are staying is called Seaglass Tower.

You are saying to just stay on 40 to 17? I was going to do the 40 - 26 then shoot over to Myrtle Beach from Columbia. I will play with Mapquest and google maps and see what the distance shows.

yeah that would work. i was thinking maybe you were coming from the northern part of tenn. i go down there every now and then but i mainly stay up in the atlantic beach/emerald isle area or with some friends who live at carolina beach (i hate that place but it's free and wilmington is 15 mins away)
