God Bless You. I live in the City and stay the hell away from Times Square on that particular day. If you do plan on getting down there for the festivities, understand that once you get a spot it's nearly impossible to leave. If you do (assuming nature calls), you'll have one hell of a time getting around the police blockades. It's a real experience, but it's not something I'd do more than once in my life.
