hey ya'll! I am actually here in Anchorage for work until the 24th. Obviously working during the week, but any recommendations for things to do during the weekend? Thanks in advance!

Mooses Tooth or Bears Tooth for food. Humpys is a good bar downtown, Chilkoot Charlies is meat market/white trash bar/club.

if youre still in anchorage, looks like ill be coming down from the slope this evening. shoot me an email at previously posted email address.

Eddies Sports bar has a live country band downstairs w/ a dance floor, i think every friday. its certainly no Hall, but it works for Alaska.

It's just down the road from the Peanut Farm.

Hope you enjoyed your stay. Im still trying to get oriented to Anchorage.

heres a few shots of northern lights i took from the office. it was weird though, I always thought the aurora borealis was colorful to the naked eye. But they looked like gray clouds and were only green in the camera

Do you know of any nature photography classes in town or w/in easy driving distance?

Im still looking at buying studded/studdless snow tires. Can you recommend a good tire shop?

Do you know where the best place to buy a safe in Anchorage is?

Do you happen to know/use any good fishing and/or hunting guides?

I'll probably be at the Peanut Farm ice bowling during Fur Rondy. Ill wear an aggie beanie. give me a shout
