I know I've posted this before, but I'm still hoping for some luck up here in the Windy City, Ags.

I'm a broken record, I'm sure, but again: we moved up here about a year ago, and while luckily the wife--a teacher--found work before we left, I have yet to be able to get anything.

On the background: I practiced commercial litigation for five years in Dallas before moving up here. While I originally was hoping to get into another field, and utilize my experience in other fields, I've also applied to get my IL Bar license, and am waiting (going on seven months) for that.

So, please, any and all advice, thoughts, etc. are MORE than welcome. I'm looking for any help at all. To say we're in dire straits is an understatement. I'm open to practicing law again (indeed, have been told by HR and recruiters that "sorry, that's the only thing you're trained for, so, you know, you're a lawyer...", but I'll have to wait on the IL license. I'm really trying to find ANYTHING at all.
