Howdy Ags! I have been living in Las Vegas since 2006 and have pretty much rooted here since then and for the time being. My family and I usually congregate on weekends either at our home or with the Vegas A&M Club for game watching. If anyone is ever out here during a game weekend look for the A&M Club at Buffalo Wild Wings on Durango Dr. and Warm Springs Rd. in the Southwest part of the Valley. Look forward to a great rest of the season!

Also, if you're ever in town and need any information on events, hotels, dining or whatever, let me know and we'll steer you in the right direction.

Headed there this weekend. What advice do you have?

Depends on what you want to do? When you get here if you take a cab, make sure they don't long haul you to the strip. IE-Don't take the airport tunnel to I-15 to LV Blvd. This will make your fare $20-$30 bucks. Make them take Swenson to Tropicana. Especially if you're staying on the south end of the strip. I-15 may be better if you're staying on the north end/down town. Venetian/Wynn/Stratosphere. I work at the airport, so I see people getting duped all the time. Shuttles/Limos are also another way to go. Do Limo if you want to get a different feel/vibe or just want to treat yourself. Usually run about $65/hour


Definitely do some sports betting since you'll be here on the weekend. Most books do some really nice parlay cards, 10/10 pays 800:1!!! Lagassi's Stadium in the Venetian/Palazzo is really bad ass. Check it out, the best sports book in town, IMO.


Get something good to eat, most restaurants in all the hotels are great. The best are in Wynn/Encore and MGM Grand. Very pricey, worth it though. Best meals I ever had were at CraftSteak in MGM and Country Club in the Wynn.


That's pretty much it as I don't know what you are looking to do,these are just some of the things I would do if I was a tourist. If you're into outdoors, of course Hoover Dam is a sight to see and Red Rock canyon has great hiking trails through the natural landscape.

We will be in town from Thurs through Monday. Friday night is gambling and Sat is the Jimmy Buffett concert. We have an extra ticket if interested! Otherwise, we want to just have fun but doesn't have to be super touristy. We may join yall for the game Saturday.

You know, my wife was asking me if I wanted to go to see that show. I actually have to work a night shift that night, but just curious, how much for the ticket? I can sometimes get out of work last minute if someone wants to work for me.

Heading to Vegas this weekend for NextGen UGM at the MGM Grand. I'll probably get in with just enough time Saturday to find a sports bar/book close to the MGM. Is anyone getting together to watch the game near there or Mandalay?
