Looks like within the next year, the family is going to be relocated to our comany's Wilmington, DE office.

Anyone have any ideas of good places to live near there? I haven't heard much thus far other than that many people live on the PA side but some parts to Philly aren't very nice...

Any places we should check out while there (towns/suburbs/eating places/landmarks)?

Newark or Brandywine. Lots of nice small towns between Wilmington and Dover.

I live near Philly and can't stand it. Stay out for your own sake.

I would look near Collegeville, PA (Garnet Valley area). Just north of the state line on 202. Great schools, low taxes, and about the the only area where you will find amenities that are somewhat newer.

If you must live nearer to Philly, or prefer a city feel then send me a PM and I can help you. I've been living in the suburbs west of Philly (Mainline area) for about 4 years now.
