Ill be moving to Columbia, South Carolina for a new job in a few weeks. Anyone here a SC or Columbia ag? Any TAMU clubs or activities? Or if anyone is familiar with the area in general what are some good things to see or places to eat. BTHO Muschamp.

My parents retired (semi-retired) down there in April from Chicago area, living in Blythewood. Folks are either Clemson or USC fans. We visited for the first time a few weeks ago and they are really enjoying it.

Couple of really nice state parks in town (one with a great dog park) and a lot to see within a couple of hours. We did a tour of the capitol building and it was really interesting and beautiful building. We had a nice lunch at Motor Supply Co Bistro and they like Mr Friendly's and Solstice Kitchen. Apparently the zoo is a good one. Pretty short drive to Charleston and all there is there.

There are a few Aggies spread about SC. We never really got anything going.

If we get the time/etc, my brother and I may do a very informal "Muster/BBQ", at some point, but so far, work has gotten in the way

If you can find a way to not be in Columbiabin the summer, i suggest leaving. It gets brutal.

I thought there was a Columbia area former students group. I'm in Charleston and there's nothing organized around here. Would have liked to do muster last year because of my brother - parents managed to get to B/CS though.

Well I go to CHS a few times per month - I have a store there, and some good friends there.

If you do want to put something together for Muster, please let me know.

If any of you are interested in getting a muster together let me know. Also, if anyone wants to watch TAMU v OU on Thursday I will be going downtown to watch.
