There was a major fund buying FIG all day under $52 with market orders. Then it ran into close. Price action now pointing to a quicker rejection of the sell off imbalance.

For those of us who understand half of this, AIs interpretation of OAs words:
"A big institutional buyer kept scooping up FIG stock under $52 all day, aggressively using market orders. That buying pressure pushed the stock higher into the close. The way the stock is moving now suggests the recent downturn is already being rejected meaning the sell-off is likely over, and the stock may be gearing up for a rebound."

Do institutions ever sell quickly after buying or are those buys usually long term holds?

AI says this so trust by verify lol:
Big, slow-money institutions usually hold for years. Hedge funds or active traders may sell quickly if they were just exploiting the dip.
The clue is in the order flow: steady all-day buying under $52 with market orders sounds more like accumulation for a position than a quick flip.

I'm buying shares of FIG here too, but mainly to DCA since my entry was bad.
Also been buying ARM in 130's range hoping it'll recover in next few weeks. I have some 160Cs that could use a little help.
Anybody else looking at modular nuclear? I previously mentioned LTBR and haven't gone back to see if anyone responded (no one replied or I would've gotten an alert). SMR and TLN are two others in that sector that are interesting to me.
