I had double the profit on downside trades today than I did on drops from my shares and longer term leap options. He's not perfect, but as someone that started from scratch in trading (not just investing) at the beginning of 2024 so been very aware to compare what he and other financial or traders say, this guy really knows what he's talking about. My bank account greatly thanks him for it, and the fee for his service is chump champ compared to the return.

It's not that you'll get an argument from most of us on that, but it is incredibly disingenuous to come over here after one of the worst days of the year and drop a "I saw the effect of a Trump tweet in the technicals and made bank, how'd you guys do - oh ooops no one came to tell y'all? should have signed up for my awesome service" comment and expect to get anything but a smart ass response.

And yes, I know that's not what he said, but it definitely came across that way. And this is coming from someone who generally stays out of the pissing matches over OA - I have no reason to do anything other than appreciate what contributions he does still bring here on occasion. I have several times considered joining and still may do so to see what it's all about, but ill-timed comments like that don't sway me over.

Catching up on the board from the hills of TN.

Love seeing all the new posters I didn't see for years of daily trading. This is one of the best places to learn. Emphasizing learn. While there will be lots of trading setups and posts that…I'm doing or y'all should do this or that posts…the foundation of this forum is to teach, share, learn and apply.

It would be disingenuous to list those that have given so much to this 'closed' forum. Free. Y'all know who you are and we all communicate outside of it from time to time.

I'm looking forward in the future to being a daily contributor here again and back to a degenerate trader scalping SPY everyday.

TLDW: Someone shorted BTC a few minutes before tariff announcement and made a cool $200MM in less than an hour.

I hate for anyone to have a Mode 1 sell side day and not preserve capital. Not so much the long portfolio accounts but in case you are a trader with exposure. Fridays present a unique opportunity even if you don't sell long positions. Example: A $1 expiring put on ARM (my largest holding) save me $12/share in losses. I could have bought those same puts for $0.30 at the open as ARM opened higher and then trapped. I waited until we lost the key level I was watching and executed Puts against all long shares. Like you, I don't want to sell the shares, but I also am not too keen on $2m+ draw downs, when a simple expiring cheap premium can avoid it.

So as far as suggesting my post was some kind of marketing effort, that wasn't remotely what I was implying. My little 130 member enterprise was never intended to be some huge mass marketing business. I was genuinely wondering why no one bothered to inform here when in the midst of focusing on all the data points, I specifically said "someone should let TexAgs know", although I think I can understand they didn't bother to…

Ya know, you guys managed to get one of the best set up traders I know, 30k, tired of giving any info here. The guy has made me a fortune. Sometimes I think social media has destroyed the ability for some to remain rational adults.

As for TACO Trump, I think it obviously sets up a push back up. Some think to all time highs. Some think .26 to .50 fib and then a trap sell continuation. I have been asking if people paid attention to Fed Board talk Thursday, where he said he voted for the first cut but is not in favor of further cuts at this time.

The fact that no one is assigning his remarks as part of the catalyst for the selloff is crazy. Again, social media piled on the Trump tweet and missed the bigger picture….

PATH is one we've been in for long portfolio. It ranged going nowhere last year. Did the same this year and even after beating earnings and guiding upwards it lost its earnings gain. Then is broke out on the partnering talk with Open AI.

SOUN is another one for longs. 217% growth

I see these being huge winners in the Agentic AI rush. Get the double in 2026 to go net free and leave them alone.

PATH had a 5-wave move off its low followed by a corrective retrace to higher low. Its now touching first resistance trendline at gap fill. Could give some back. If it can hold above $15 on any retrace, it has $29-$38 target range right into 50%-61.8% retrace off its move down from IPO.

Giving it a double. So let it be written- so let it be done.

If you have overnight the answer is already yes. Futures up to 50 Fib. Large caps like MSFT already at 50Fib of its Fridays range. NVDA up over $5 at its 50Fib. Most stocks are.
