I still consider it a safe baseline and entry point for a position.

My experience in investing has taught me this: it's either overvalued or undervalued, unless is it correctly valued.

Bleeding all day again? Or will there be buying at some point into the close to turn things around?

Beware of attempting to catch a falling knife. Unless you can justify it on a major support, I'd highly recommend against it.

That was one of my account blow-up mistakes years ago!

I hope people refocus on earnings again. Several folks on Bloomberg this morning thought it is just a small pullback. Hope so.

Bought more SOXL at 39.50.

36 looks like key support and if that is broken, I'm out.

I'm buying some SMR here. If it pops up higher for a trade I'll sell it. If it doesn't, I don't mind holding it because retail will FOMO it's ass higher soon enough anyway.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but why in tf would you do that before they reported earnings in the face of a massive macro selloff? That was gambling my friend. You'll still profit from it, but you could've bought more shares at a lower price point this morning to maximize your swing trade opportunity. JMO and trying to give free advice.

If WWR goes below $1, it is revisiting the .50 range again isn't it?

depends on how you define "below" $1….

I've been guessing it hits a $1 and we almost did it this morning already but it's unlikely it'll test that low again today….

Personally I'd be really surprised if it went back to 0.50….im guessing it'll find a new bottom at a $1 and from there don't know what it'll do….

Major support at .99. If it gives that up, next major support is .81.

Play the levels. Not the round #s on these cheap stocks.

Have a decent chunk of cash from recent POWL and GOOG trimmings.... Tempting to start trickling in some buys here, but I don't see any absolute steals out there.

BBAI - my dad bought 100 Dec 8C contracts. I told him to sell back 3 weeks ago when BBAI was at 8 +/-. 'Nah, my buddy says it's going to 10'.

Now he can sell for a 70% loss or 'hope' for a significant bounce.

Many tech/growth stocks that were making crazy highs the last few months are closing in/at/below their 200 day ema's. Interesting spots right now.

Is this a smart move?
I bought into KVUE around $14 when trump made it the autism pull, and Kimberly Clark just bought them out.
So I loaded up some more, since it seems like there will be a cash payout per share plus Kimberly Clark stock at a discount…
I'm a rook, but it seems like a no brainer to go in and hold until the purchase is complete?

Some thoughts: Kimberly Clark announced a tentative agreement. The acquisition is not complete until the closing date. It could fall apart for several reasons, including antitrust, market turmoil, failure of shareholder ratification vote, etc. Many deals have unraveled due to these types of issues, and that's why you almost never see the stock trading at the deal price before the last days. Also, arbitrageurs are all over these, sniping off nickels and dimes around the edges, and you and I are not smarter or better than them.

Bottom line, if you think you want to hold stock in the acquirer, hold onto it. If you were speculating, sell it now. If you're unsure, ride it out, or write covered calls or buy protective puts at or near the deal price to protect yourself.

I thought buying some Spirit Airlines stock last year was a slam dunk. They were struggling and JetBlue was making a great offer. No way the government would rather block it and let them file bankruptcy and risk all those jobs, right? Well that's what happened and now they're cutting their fleet in half. So much for the jobs, competition, etc...Never underestimate the government's ability to screw you. And it doesn't necessarily matter who is sitting in office. It's lone federal judges that can decide this stuff and a lengthy appeals process can still sink a deal. I say speculate a little if you want, but I wouldn't go all-in on anything you can't control yourself.

I've bought into some general tech all week and this pull back hurts. But unless we have a major pullback and reset or just a really slow recovery, I would assume a lot of it will be back into position within a few weeks to months.

the CEO of IBM was on CNBC radio today

he was raving about Quantum and how much IBM believes in it

states that it is three years into the future and about where modern AI is back in 2016

that it will be the wave of the future and IBM is playing a big role in it.

Brother Prog-

what has been the issue with Nuscale the past several months?

nearly a 50% drawdown from ATH

a problem with deployment?

Momentum, Retail will FOMO them and that's why I'm buying now and will bank a nice swing trade as they get back to breakeven at $50+ in a few months.

QTUM. Even with the pullback, I'm still up 14% since July.
