The 10 $180 puts that went at the ask.. that's someone BUYING puts and not waiting to find a settlement at the mid. And that someone really thinks POWL is going to tank over the next month.

Here's what they did.. bet $11k to make $99k max. Anything over $295 POWL is green. Anything under is red and under $290 is $11k loss.

You never know. Too many major moves in stocks throughout history happen with no corresponding news or reason, and too many times a positive or negative news or economic development does not predict that direction of the market. Sometimes they line up and our search for causality reinforces that it all works cleanly. When it doesn't work as we expect, we discount it as an outlier or the market being "irrational". I try to remove that bias and avoid the narrative and let the market provide me the clues for what's likely to be next.

I have no idea anymore. Seems like when we have good news now, not much happens. Everything seems like it's already priced in and just tariff fatigue lingering. I hope we rip and rip the hell out of it. But just not sure

Shorting ATHs is one of the worst trades you can make. We should test the breakout around 6150 but the bias is and has been UP

Another week begins.
I aim to make $100 in my little option trade this week. A healthy improvement from $37 last week.

At some point, I want to get to a point where I can reliably make about $5k a week. My friend does that, he backs it up with a good amount of cash.

Have you thought of bonds?

Jokes aside. Going from little to no knowledge on generating income via options to $5k a week is a lot. You're going to have a lot of money at risk. Look into "The Wheel" strategy and get comfortable with the strategy. Then dive into the greeks so you can better understand how prices will move and risk/reward. A good amount of people run this strategy and you'll be able to learn more on Reddit, Boggleheads forum, SeekingAlpha etc.

Many people recommend the YieldMax etfs, I think the JEPI etf is great for those seeking income and equity exposure. You may want to look at private credit options with the amount of money you plan to hold as collateral for a derivatives income strategy.
