Interesting reading the comments from 8:00 am to about 9:45 am and then those that started around 10:00. It is actually a nice real-time lesson in how markets are irrational due to the human component. I really enjoy this thread.

I don't support a lot of Trump's economic policies but for whatever reason I support this; China needs to be reigned in and punitive economic/tariff policies are probably our best tools.

The problem is that, in order for this to work, there is going to have to be significant pain in the markets and the Administration just does not have the stomach to ride it out. If we are down another 5% early next week there will be capitulation.
