I'm not going over the money market fallacy again. Has literally NOTHING to do with it. When discussing liquidity for the market, I'm talking about institutional players and MM's. With volatility elevated and vol futures above VIX spot, they are sidelined. At the same time, there's nothing in the reverse repo tank.

All three indexes are up today. Given the fear and angst on the board, we must be owning the wrong companies.

Maybe it's time to look at stuff like OXY, DHI, AMT, and financials.

Bullish on some single family home building as well. SWK (Stanley Black & Decker) a support play for the homebuilding. (Craftsman, B&D, Dewalt). The have been beaten down and EPS growth looks really solid for the coming years.

Oh and barring an absolute hail mary crash, XLV puts will end as total loss. I don't think I've seen anything like this. Literally tested the support box 6 times off lower highs. That's the weakest of weak bottoms and so so unlikely. Then absolute cock rocket today by the bulls. Tip of the cap. Sucks for the puts though. That play went from looking so good to absolute dead in the span of an hour this morning.

I have about 100K from an old employer 401K that I transferred over to Fidelity. About 50% of this is in a Roth IRA and the other 50% is in a standard IRA. I am in my early 30's and this money is going to be used for retirement only. I know the general consensus is to not try to time the market, but with the anticipated lows in the very short term, would you guys suggest I old onto the cash for a few weeks before deploying it all at one time?

I want to be very aggressive with my investments as I have a ways to go until retirement. What funds do you suggest I look into? Right now, I am looking into sector ETF's and Growth & Aggressive Growth mutual funds with low expense ratios. Any other suggestions?

Bought Dec 12th GOOGL $292.50 puts for $3. Min target $286.50 or $6 per contract for 2x profit, max target $271 or $24 per contract for 6x. All or nothing. Assess risk with sizing.

First order of business is to do the backdoor Roth. 50% now and 50% first of the year to split up the taxes. You will have to pay, based on your taxes come, for $25k of the transfer so call it $5k per year for easy math of 20% tax rate. Don't take it out of the transfer, pay for it with your end of year bonus so that you transfer it all for it to grow tax free.

Two things:

Bought some UPST shares here hoping that this is near the bottom. If it drops to just under $34 I will get stopped out. Otherwise I will be holding out for the low $60s.
