Thank you. I may have to open a account with them. I have like 5 exchange accounts because they all suck at something. That's one I don't have yet.

I like KDA and think it has a ton of upside running room given its potential.

Decentralization is a spectrum. I think that ETH is already 'sufficiently' decentralized. Others like AVAX/SOL are very centralized currently, but are working towards decentralization.
Big Solana guy, here. First buy was under $4, and I still think $SOL is a buy at $175. Let's say I don't debate you on "very centralized", even though I at least semantically disagree...

...do you want to wait to buy until all value is already realized? Or do you want to buy knowing there is plenty of room for growth, yet?

I personally think Solana has a huge future ahead, and I'm glad I got in early.

I own SOL too, but didn't get in as early as you. I am also very bullish on its future! I think that regardless, for a lot of use cases the extent of decentralization won't end up mattering to users.

PoH is a nice setup, and Sam's laser focus on users is really exciting. + Phantom wallet is just phenomenal. Now they just need some better DAPPS!

Also, just out of curiosity, where did you hear about it at $4 that lead you to jump in? Must have been a great source of information, and also a really bold and great call by you.

I'm still big on LITH Token as a higher risk/high reward investment.

Known team
Good whitepaper (have been hitting road map goals consistently)
Lots of direct communication and transparency

My portfolio currently by position size:

ETH, ATOM, SOL, CRV, XTZ.

I expect CRV to be my largest holding by the end of this cycle.

Have a childhood friend (Class of '07) who, with another partner, quit well-paying jobs at JP Morgan to pursue building on Solana. He told me about Solana in January 2021. I eventually made my first buy in February.

They started with simply building a Validator node in early March maybe, and have since grown into a huge infrastructure play on the Solana blockchain. They were the first company that I know of that sold NFTs as sort of a "Series A" round of funding that each came with tokens representing ownership in their company. They actually had their IDO yesterday, and raised another $52-million for their expansion.

The TLDR for what they are pioneering is truly decentralized RPC service and data Storage for the whole Solana blockchain, and eventually branching out into cross-chain technologies.

EDIT: Added Twitter profile because things are moving so quickly in their world that their website is not the place for the most up-to-date picture of what they are doing...

GenesysGo

$SHDW - Shadow Token

(I'm definitely not shilling their token. I absolutely own it (and several of their NFTs), but it's definitely a high-risk, high-reward play. I'm betting on the people more than anything else)

Thank you for such a thorough response! I appreciate the information. That is so cool that your friend is jumping into the space.

Have you ever thought about jumping in yourself? The amount of talented people joining the space right now is so exciting.

I'm definitely considering joining them in the decentralized storage aspect of their endeavors. It is expected to generate some recurring cashflow.

Get on it. The only thing i regret [okay one of the infinite things i regret since learning about bitcoin] is that i pursued small business opportunity when I was leading the Houston bitcoin meetup from 13-2015... we had a non-profit as well... just wasn't paying bills at the time and I had a family is as attempting to grow... so 7 years later here I am a more grown individual with experiences i wasn't getting but... sigh...

Get in the space where you can. Grow in these markets. Prove naysayers like me that if it isn't bitcoin it's ****coin.

Suffer through it. Gain skills and insights into the markets and grow my man.

Speaking of Solana... I also took the liberty of claiming TAMU relevant domain names on the Solana network so nobody else could. Didn't want other people gobbling them up and trying to get a lot of money for them in the future. I'll just donate them whenever (if ever) the time is right. Hopefully the 12th Man Foundation will be taking crypto donations via the Solana network one day...

That's amazing! Coincidentally I also claimed my SOL name a few days ago (already had a .eth).

I heard of a prominent university that just got a large donation in BTC a few weeks ago, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if some alt coin donations start showing up soon too!

LooksRare doing well. I'll be curious how many other projects follow the pattern of giving holders a portion of earnings.
