JNJ announced a while back they are breaking off consumer business into separate company. Today they announced name and logo of that company.

Because history always repeats itself. Companies grow and combine. Then, they get too big to in that they can't acquire anyone of size to improve the balance sheet. So they start spinning off companies to "unlock value in under appreciated assets".

Rinse and repeat.

Makes sense. Most Big Pharmas were pressured into selling or spinning off divisions/companies that were generating margins less than the drugs. J&J has been the outlier. Most have also divested their generic drug assets as those a can no longer produce respectable margins since most are now manufactured in India at a tenth of the cost vs domestic sources.
