I'm normally pretty conservative and stick with index funds but I want to throw some money into something with more long term potential.

Anyone have some favorites right now? Would be holding for the long haul. I know TTD and ASO have been favorites before. I like them and already own some. Considering adding to them or looking for new ideas.

Find you some good dividend growing stocks vs. speculation.

Like you said, Academy is something I'm riding out long term. Pretty heavy in it.

I like ET for the dividend and growth.

It's a fund, but parking money in QQQM seems like a solid idea long term.

Bed Bath and Beyond

A major bank. American Airlines.

I know you asked for one but here are my thoughts. To me, QQQ would be a good ETF for the long run. Heavy in companies in tech, robotics, semi's, AI, etc. These companies will either be the leader in AI or buy the smaller companies that develop AI. If you look at the top holdings, it's a who who's of market leaders.

To top off tech, I buy NVDA, Tesla and Apple monthly.

For dividend growth and appreciation potential I have holdings in health care REIT stocks that have major investments in senior health care and in shipping stocks. Both sectors pay solid dividends above the cost of living and in sectors that won't go away.

Also buy monthly into JEPI and JEPQ for solid dividends.

I owed some storage unit REITs a few years ago. They were good until they went private.

I am currently in 4. PEAK, LTC, DOC and GMRE. All are in my IRA accounts and all Dividends are auto reinvested in each stock.

I'm holding too many growth stocks at this time, but the investments I feel most comfortable holding for the long term are Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Tractor Supply Co., and Mastercard.

I own all of those as well. Unless their business models deteriorate, I'll never sell my Apple, NVDA, or Tractor Supply. TSCO was one of those companies that just wasn't on my radar, until my wife asked me to buy some. One of the few brick/mortar retailers that is doing well in today's Amazon environment.

DLR is a reit that only does commercial real estate for server and cloud storage

Tsla, NVDA, Apple, Msft, amzn.

Tsla is always controversial. If you think of them as just a car company they are 10x overvalued. But if you think of them as a cutting edge manufacturer, autonomous driving, energy storage, software company then they have alot of room to grow in high margin areas. I am heavy in Tsla so realize this is a bumpy stock as many view them as just a car company
