I strongly dislike the SEC and I don't like Gensler...at all. So this is pretty darn good news whether you like/dislike crypto.

I do have a question for you, Viper.

From your posts above, it seems banks are about to stumble into a great deal of liquidity not having to do international remittances any longer. So, will Ripple have to carry the capital requirements for remittances now?

The only reason I ask...

If XRP goes parabolic on this news, no worries. The liquidity is there. However, if/when XRP moons, like a new IPO, there might be a pretty strong sell off. Do you foresee any issues with Ripple/XRP having the necessary capital to push through a strong sell-off?

Ripple itself won't have to carry the capital requirements for remittances. The selling of XRP isn't an issue in regards to the liquidity factor.

Ripple and XRP are two different entities.

Ripple provides the payment services and raises capital through selling their services and selling XRP. The more valuable XRP is, the greater the benefit for anyone or anything holding XRP, which can lead to hedging and leveraging.

XRP provides the utility required for their services, other coins also provide the same or similar functions as XRP, but Ripple's XRP is considered to be the pioneer of the utility necessary for on demand liquidity.

Ripple CTO expands on this:

The link below is a good article explaining how banks can leverage XRP, regardless of what retail is doing, i.e. buying or selling.

Another link below gives insight into the linkages of the very soon to be modern financial landscape.... for me, connecting the dots seems simple, but for some, it's an immediate invalidation if they have to dig. It's amazing how quickly people stop short and shallow.

So, just moving past the official report, then.

No wonder you're not into bitcoin.... discernment required.
"Crypto Rover who is famous for his Bitcoin-centric views recently surprised the crypto community by revealing a major purchase of $250,000 in XRP in recent weeks."

Some pricey discernment there.

Here's another quick read on how the modern financial landscape is evolving; also mentions the leveraging in regards to cross-border payments and remittances.

"Leveraging cryptocurrencies for cross-border payments enables real-time settlements and significantly lower transaction costs compared to traditional money transfer services."

What bitcoin’s detractors don’t understand is monetary economics, computer science, software engineering, network protocols, and electrical systems.

so more than 20x the combined value of every company on the NYSE. hmm
It's kind of outlandish to think XRP will hit 10k. And I doubt it will ever get anywhere close to that.

But XRP is trying to be a global cross border payment system. Total global M2 money supply is ~82 Trillion.

All crypto is currently sitting at ~1.5 trillion.

things like $10k per XRP predictions are how morons get absolutely smoked in crypto and never come back. it's damaging to the entire space.
I am a big proponent of XRP. It is most of my crypto holdings. I got in pretty late, but am up 50% since I got in. So not a bad return on investment for holding on to XRP for a while.

I'm fine with $100 XRP value... sell 2/3 of my bag and retire early. I'll leave a 1/3 in there for the 'outlandish' predictions.

No need to tell you to zoom out, you'll just see a break out on a 7 year bull flag. You should probably zoom in though, a digital asset reserve exists now, which will be loaded with digital assets made in America.

There won't be a "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve".... that was bogus.

There's now a Strategic Digital Asset Reserve, that's not bogus.

Your question should be, "Are the FED and global central banks using outdated payments platforms and messaging software?" YES.

Will the FED and global CBs be using updated payments platforms and messaging software? YES

Will large global, national and regional banks and institutions be using new payments platforms and messaging software? YES

Will crypto and blockchain be a factor in those updates? YES

Will Bitcoin serve any functional purpose in this update? NO

Will Ethereum? NO

Will any Stablecoins? YES, RLUSD

Will XRP and the XRPL facilitate the movement of money? YES, it already has been, tested and vetted for the last 5 years during this "bogus" lawsuit.
