Looking to see if anyone has any info on SEP Roth IRA's.

I currently have a traditional SEP IRA for myself as I am self-employed. My accountant recommended the Roth option that was added last year but I have yet to find someone who offers it. Does anyone know who is offering it yet and have any recommendations?

TIA!

Vanguard does, I would assume the other big BD like Fidelity, Schwab do as well

Can't you just make a regular Sep contribution and convert it to Roth IRA. Basically the same thing.

I'm not familiar with any Roth provisions on SEPs at any of the major investment companies at this time.

Vanguard's website says -
  • SECURE 2.0 allows employers of SEP-IRAs to offer the ability to make Roth contributions. At this time, Vanguard will be not be offering the SEP Roth.

I believe most are still waiting for some IRS guidance. As Nactownag suggested, you could just convert some portion of your SEP to the Roth, which would have the same effect. (i.e. paying taxes now vs later)
