What is the best software for a small business that doesn't require an accounting degree to understand and offers real-time data? Meaning is integrated with my banks and credit card companies to show me a snapshot of where I am at any given time.

Do know that all of them will give you enough rope to hang yourself. Strongly discourage doing your own bookkeeping and taxes. Pay someone to do one of those so at least you know things are reasonably accurate. I've seen more books than you can imagine that are unusable from a reporting and tax perspective and people like me charge a lot of money to fix the messes owners make of their own books. Worse still finding someone to clean it up seems to be getting harder. My staff vetoed the last two projects and recently I talked to a CPA who fired a client because the client couldn't or wouldn't find someone to fix the mess. This is a hat you should get off your head as soon as possible.

Honestly, I prefer Qbooks over Zero. It seemed more difficult to record transactions and journal entries to me. Then again, I have been using Qbooks for 20 years.
