Our family of five is currently covered via COBRA. I need to find us a new health insurance policy. We are in my big rush as we have 18 months from October 2025 on COBRA.

Can anyone recommend a good broker that will help me? The people I've worked with have sent me online to fill out questionnaires with a lot of questions that I simply do not understand, they seem to be using industry jargon. I'm looking for someone that's available to help with this kind of stuff. If you can recommend a broker, I would appreciate it.

Any reason you aren't going through the exchange?

Generally curious because I am on the exchange and wondering if I should be looking around. I have been on it for a year but I haven't really used it except for an annual physical so I can't really say if it's good or bad.

I was in a similar situation recently and went with Weshare by UHSM, recommended by another poster here on Texags. The plan was roughly $950/month for a healthy family of 4 compared to my prior employer COBRA at $3.2k. Thankfully we only had to carry Weshare for about a two months as I landed another gig.
